Art Director & Web Designer

Overview:
In the realm of empowerment and education, the Sonderly Website Refresh stands as a testament to the transformative power of digital platforms. Sonderly, an online beacon for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, entrusted us with the task of not just redesigning a website but reshaping an online educational experience.
Client Background:
Sonderly is more than a platform; it's a digital haven that empowers and informs. As a dedicated educational platform, Sonderly releases timely and relevant content, keeping users abreast of news and studies. The core mission is to foster connectivity and education for the Autism Spectrum community.
As the creative force behind the project, my role was to reimagine the Sonderly digital space. From concept to execution, the objective was clear: convey connectivity and education through a website that serves as an inclusive and informative hub.
Design Concept:
The web designs were meticulously developed to be more than just aesthetically pleasing; they were crafted to embody connectivity and education. Each element, from colour choices to layout, was an intentional nod to creating an environment that fosters learning and community engagement.
Bilingual Adaptation:
Recognizing the diversity of Sonderly's audience, the redesign included the creation of a bilingual version specifically tailored for the French community in Canada. This thoughtful adaptation ensures that Sonderly's educational resources are accessible to a broader audience.
Accessibility Commitment:
The Sonderly website is not just a digital space; it's an accessible one. Aligned with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), the website is designed to ensure inclusivity and equal access for all.
Content Evolution:
Sonderly's commitment to knowledge dissemination is reflected in its constant content evolution. The ability to update and upgrade the content allows for a dynamic visual identity, ensuring that the website stays not only informative but visually relevant.
The Sonderly Website Refresh has garnered more than just aesthetic appeal. It has become a digital sanctuary, fostering connectivity and education within the Autism Spectrum community. The bilingual adaptation and accessibility features reinforce Sonderly's commitment to inclusivity.
The wireframes and prototyping was done entirely in Adobe XD. The graphic elements and imagery were styled and edited in Illustrator and Photoshop respectively.
This project goes beyond design; it's about creating a digital ecosystem where empowerment and education intersect. Sonderly's refreshed website is not just a place; it's a digital haven for learning, understanding, and connecting.
